Fabrizio Gianni is a genuine photography legend. He has had a stellar career which began in film and moved into fashion photography. His photography exhibition at The Park Gallery focuses on his work for fashion magazines such as Italian Elle, Italian and French Vogue, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar and Figaro, to name but a few.
Fabrizio has photographed celebrities galore from Charlize Theron to Andy McDowell to Anthony Hopkins, Keanu Reeves and more. He was Assistant Director in 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly', and a spaghetti western film he wrote and starred in, which he dismisses as awful, is actually a favourite of Quentin Tarantino.
Fabrizio’s cinematic past has always informed his photography and he has never lost his eye for scene-setting or his flair for the dramatic. The fashion stills, conceived by Gianni, hint at stories going on behind the scenes, and were all featured in glossy magazines. His portfolio reveals a life’s work of images of beautiful and sensual people, dressed by Giorgio Armani and Ralph Lauren and posing against some of the most exotic backdrops in the world.
